Donald Richard Bradley, Sr. passed away on Sunday, September 29, 2013 at the age of 78. Donald was a pipefitter with the the Plumbers and Pipefitters Local 60 for 59 years and a veteran of the Coast Guard Reserve. Beloved husband of Barbara Beard Bradley for 17 years. Father of Donald Richard Bradley, Jr. (Judy J.) and Dean Allen Bradley (Vicky Ladner). Stepfather of James and Jennifer Powell. PawPaw of Donald Richard Bradley, III, Jessie Thom and Alexis Powell. Son of the late John Robert Bradley, Sr. and Lillian Helma Minazzi. Brother of John Robert Bradley. Uncle of David Richard Bradley and the late Robert Allen Bradley and Donna Jean Bradley.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service on Friday, October 4, 2013 at 1:30 pm at Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Drive in Metairie. Visitation will begin at 11:30 am. Interment will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions to the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758517, Topeka, KS 66675 are appreciated.

I am truly sorry for your loss. I know he went through a lot of pain and now he is in the presence of God and is free of all pain. He will be missed by many. I hope your family joins together to help each other get through this time of sorrow.

Donald was a kind and caring uncle to Rick. He also welcomed me into the family so many years ago with his respect and humor. I have never forgotten how he opened his home and helped us plan our New Orleans wedding.
