It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Elsie Elizabeth Brown formally of Forgan, Sask. at the Dinsmore Health Care Centre on Monday, May 3rd, 2010. Elsie was born July 21, 1919 at Tay Township (Vasey) Ontario).
Elsie is survived by her son Kendal of forgan, SK and his children Kerri (Mark) Calwell, Clair and John of Elrose, SK; Jay of Calgary, AB and Devin (Jennifer) Thomas, David and Jillian of New Glasgow, Nova Scotia; son Harley (Shirley) and their children, Ryan (Michelle) and Cooper of Saskatoon, SK, Nyree (Mike) and Aiden of Grande Prairie, AB and Shiral of Grande Prairie, AB, son Elwood of Forgan, SK. She is also survived by her husband Langford's family, sisters Winnie (Del) Anderson; Lois (Don) Forsberg; Brother Ken (Olga) Elliott; brothers-in-law Chuck (Verna) Huck and Glen Aebig and many nieces and nephews. Elsie was predeceased by her husband Langford in 2003; son Allan in 2006; her mother Sarah in 1960, father Johnston in 1951; she was also predeceased by all of her 10 brothers and 3 sisters and sister-in-law Dot Elliott.
The Funeral Service was held Saturday, May 8, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at Clements Funeral Chapel with Pastor Blaine Sands officiating. Burial will follow at the Forgan Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers Memorial Donations may be made to the Dinsmore Health care Centre, Dinsmore, SK S0L 0T0 or to the Forgan Cemetery Fund, c/o Doug MacDonald, Box 266, Elrose, SK S0L 0Z0. Clements Rosetown Funeral Home entrusted with the arrangements.
