Frank L Gaunt, 81 passed away peacefully Saturday December 22, 2012 at his home in Eatonville, WA. With his loving wife Erica, step son Hunter, and close friend Matthew by his side after a recent diagnosis of pancreatic cancer.

Frank was a great man and will be missed by all who knew him. He is survived by wife Erica, sister Beverly, children Barbara, Bernice, Debbie, Gary and Hunter. Preceded in death by father Leo, mother Gertrude and daughter Joyce.

BOB LEVITIN
Dear Erica, Beverly and family; I've known Frank since the sandlot football days at Brighton Playfield in Rainier Valley, when we were about age 14 or 15. He went on to become an offensive guard, for the Quakers, with much more weight then. He also was the place -kicker, and a good one, for our class of '49 Franklin HS football team. When the Korean War started, he was an enlistee in the U.S. Marines and that trimmed excess weight and really toughened him up. From then on he became what I would call "a real man". He accomplished alot going through Seattle U., Boeing and then his own successful, lubricant business. I would also see Frank when I worked in the Mutuels at Emerald Downs as he got better and better horses. I was honored to be at his memorial last Sat. in Puyallup. God Bless and keep you all healthy & safe. Bob Levitin. FHS "49

Frank's father and my father were in grade school together. Frank and I were classmates from kindergarden at Whitworth
Grade School through our graduation from Franklin High School. Except for our 50 year reunion, we never saw each other again. I send my condolences to his family. Rest in peace classmate.

My Dad
You brought me home to care for me,
You gave me love unconditionally.
You taught me to walk, And taught me to talk,
You showed me to ran and how to have fun,
You taught me the difference between right and wrong.
You made me strong.
When I thought I knew it all, you let go my hand, to stand on my own, Though I felt your there next to me, by my side watching after to me.
Those the words were never said, I knew at times I made you sad, I had let you down.
You taught me then we must forgive, to let it go, mistake are made by one and all Mistakes are how we learn and grow, holding on to anger is a waste of our time.
Now all I have are memories of you, I miss your smile, I miss you.
I missed time spent with My Dad.
