Freya Hays Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Jun. 16, 2014.

Let not your hearts be troubled; believe in God, believe also in Me. In my Father's house are many rooms; if it were not so, would I have told you that I go and prepare a place for you? And when I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself, that where I am you may be also.
John 14:1-3

Freya it has been many years since your left the company, but it seems like just yesterday. You were always a bright shining spirit and so fun to be around. Rest in peace dear Freya, May God bless you and keep you always.

I do not know how the years have become memories--when does time move from the past to the present? I remember Freya at RHS so clearly. First of all she was so cute and so sweet. She was kind and caring. She was involved in almost every activity of high school life and fun to be around. People were important to her and she was a great example of goodness to her family and all who knew her. To Fran and the rest of her family, Phoebe and I are thinking of you. Candy Shelton Krausman

Knew Freya and her younger sister Fran from our time at Rancho High in the early 60's. She was such a gentle spirit and always helped other people. Later she moved in to my ward and I was able to enjoy her love of the Savior. Nothing could keep her down, she was a modern version of the Unsinkable Molly Brown. I'm grateful for the knowledge that she is without pain and able to be with those that have gone before her, living in harmony with her values.

She is loved and will be missed by so many. We appreciated her optimism and confidence during difficult times. What an amazing example! Our thoughts and prayers are with her family.
