Spent many happy hours with Gary, Bruce, Beef and I, heading to San Francisco to the Filmore, always alot of fun and laughs. Knew him at Madison and for years after, always a happy sweet guy.

Gary was my buddy for a number of years. We laughed a lot when times were tough. I've missed his friendship for a long time now. I didn't know he was so sick. You don't know what you've got 'til it's gone ....
He had more records than anybody I ever knew .....I went to more concerts with Gary than anyone I ever knew ....

I am saddened by Gary's passing. We go back to grade school and surfed every weekend our jr and sr year. Growing up with Gary leaves me with many treasured memories of times spent with a good buddy. My thoughts and blessings go out to his family.

Dr. Jonna Hongo

We will sorely miss our "Best Patient Ever" - what we will miss the most is Gary's indomitable spirit and his beautiful sense of humor. Gary never acted discouraged and we were always delighted to know he was coming in to see us. Our prayers are for comfort and strength for family still here - but rest assured Gary is whole and well and pain free. Our condolences, Dr. Jonna Hongo, Sally, Tracey, Cindy, Stephanie and Sheril We were honored to be his dental caregivers.
