Mr. Jack B. Adams, Jr., of Griffin, passed away Wednesday, January 5, 2011 at Spalding Regional Medical Center.
Mr. Adams was born January 10, 1949 in Thomaston, GA. He graduated from LaGrange College and until his recent retirement, he worked with the family business.
Survivors include his parents, Jack, Sr. and Gaye Adams; wife, Donna Adams of Griffin; sisters, Nancy (John) Buchanan of North Carolina and Lana Jones of Peachtree City; children, Beau Adams of Griffin, Brandon (Gui Young) Adams of South Korea and Miss Brooke Adams of Peachtree City; grandchildren, Blake and Anna Leigh Adams; stepchildren, Patricia Bailey (Joshua) Brown and Lee (Angela) Bailey of Griffin and several nieces & nephews.
A memorial service for Mr. Jack B. Adams, Jr. will be held Saturday, January 8, 2011 at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Haisten McCullough Funeral Home. Friends may visit the family on Saturday from 1 – 3 p.m. at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to Five Loaves Two Fish Food Pantry, 215 W. Slaton Ave., Griffin, GA 30223 or to the Bolton Sunday School Class, c/o First Baptist Church, 106 W. Taylor St., Griffin, GA 30223 in memory of Mr. Adams.
