November 11, 1973 - October 18, 2013
Michael's life was taken way too early in a tragic plane crash near Tifton, Georgia on his way to spend time with his family at a Kentucky lake house retreat where he pursued his passion fishing on Lake Barkley with his family. He was traveling in the plane together with his beloved Boston Terrier, Lucy. The details surrounding the plane crash are still under investigation by the FAA/NTSB.
He was a beloved son, brother, uncle, brother-in-law, and friend. He never met a stranger and would give the shirt off of his back to anyone in need. He wore his heart on his sleeve, and was able to rally people together to affect change in this world.
Michael was a graduate of Merritt Island High School, attended Florida State University, worked in the family antique business and attained his Real Estate License. He continued to build a successful real estate career with Keller Williams Realty. His life as a realtor allowed him to showcase his personal strengths as a servant leader. He led many people in his role as a Team Leader and partner with Keller Williams in several offices located in Orlando, Oviedo, Port Orange, Daytona Beach and Melbourne, Florida.
Michael will continue to touch the lives of so many in this world, and has made an impact on everyone he met. He will continue to touch our lives as a special guardian angel looking over us. His final real estate gained in value when he walked through the gate of Heaven.
He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents and his maternal grandmother. He is survived by his mom and dad, Brenda and Elliott Leadlay of Merritt Island, his brother Gregory Musselwhite (sister-in-law Denise) of Oviedo, sister Candace Jones (brother-in-law Ron) of Merritt Island, nephews Tyler, Riley and Nicolas and niece Alaina.
