Robert C. "Bob" Bannister
(Founding Partner of Perma-Bound Canada and Long-time member of Peterborough Sales and Ad Club, Member of A.F.& A.M. Tecumseh Lodge No. 144) Peacefully at P.R.H.C. on February 21, 2013 at the age of 83. Beloved husband of Muriel. Loving father of Paul (Marilyn) of Guelph and David (Karen Jefferson) of Calgary, Alberta. He will be sadly missed by grandchildren Courtney, Bobbie, and Graeme. Dear brother of June Chandler. Predeceased by sister Queenie, and brothers Stan, Roy, Len, and Cecil. Born and raised in Stratford, Ontario he moved to Peterborough in 1959 and resided there until his passing. A Service of Remembrance will be held at the KAYE FUNERAL HOME "Memorial Chapel", 539 George St. N., on Saturday, May 4, 2013 at 11:30am. Reverend John Sloan officiating. The family would like to thank everyone for their support and kind thoughts during this time. Dad would be overwhelmed, as we are, by all the remembrances and tributes. The family would also like to extend their gratitude to the staff at the Palliative Care ward at the P.R.H.C. Their care, respect, and kindness for Dad were exemplary and very much appreciated. For those that wish to commemorate Bob through donations please consider the Cancer Society.
