Aunt Ruth, I'm sorry I never got down to your funeral. I have so many fond memories of going down to visit with you, uncle Fred, and Charlie. I will never forget you, and the fun I had down in Savannah and all of your funny stories. I love and miss you.

I knew Ruth from River's Edge, where I used to live, also enjoyed talking to her about her day lilies. My thoughts and prayers are with her. She was a very interesting and nice person to know.

My deepest sympathies to the family of Ruth Whitten. Although I don't know any of you, she and Fred were two of my dearest friends. We worked (and played) together in the world of daylilies. It was a pleasure to have known them. Nell McCreery
