Harman, Thomas Wayne, age 67, passed away peacefully on Dec. 31, 2013, in Clearwater, FL. Wayne grew up in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, served in the United States Navy for four years, and graduated from Sacred Heart University, in Fairfield, CT. He moved to Clearwater, from Connecticut, with his family in 1989. Wayne was proud of and dedicated to his position as Vice President of Global Manufacturing for BIC Graphic, where he worked for 30 years. An avid golfer and fisherman for many years, he also enjoyed traveling (particularly to Yellowstone National Park and Las Vegas), and was a tremendous fan of Western films and books. But above all else, Wayne was dedicated to his family:
He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Joanne M. Hlewicki Harman, as well as his two sons, Thomas Wayne Harman, Jr. and Mark B. Harman; his brother Lyle and wife Sharon, his sister Linda Hobbs and husband David, and his sister Pat Chapman; extended family of James Radcliffe, Jan Hlewicki and Irene Wasicsko, William and Louise Hlewicki, and Maryann Sabol; and a great many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Wayne is preceded in death by his mother, Mildred Higgins Harman, as well as his sister-in-law, Diane Radcliffe.
The family would like to give a special thanks to Dr. Beth Hanrahan, her staff and Suncoast Hospice, especially Betty, for their compassionate care.
A celebration of Wayne's life will be held at Moss Feaster Funeral Home, 1320 Main St., Dunedin, on Saturday, January 11th, between 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. Thoughts and condolences may be expressed online, at: www.mossfeasterdunedin.com.
In lieu of flowers or donations, Wayne's family requests that you embrace the ones you love and reach out to a friend in need.

But I know we'll meet again, some sunny day."

Dear Joanne, Tom, & Mark,
May God comfort you and your family during this difficult time like only He can.
I will truly miss Wayne and his positive, bubbly personality. Memories of horseback riding and playing golf in Colorado bring a smile to my face. I can still here him yell, "Baa-nnie."
How beautiful and fitting how you chose to close his obituary.

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Wayne was one of Vilnis' best friends over the years but most especially he was there for him through Vil's last journey. Both Wayne and Joanne offered me comfort and friendship then and afterwards and I thank them both for their friendship. Very special people and Wayne will be missed. May he rest in peace.

Wayne would want us to celebrate his life, not mourn his passing because that was the kind of man he was. He loved his family and he was a friend to everyone. His smile was contagious and he was blessed with a loving family who worked hard together to honor all of his wishes. They did so with grace and I know Wayne is looking down on all of them with love. May the treasured memories that you shared help all of you as you grieve. Kathy & Ken Gagliano Clearwater, Fl.

How do you measure the worth of a man....by his devotion to his family, by his kindness to others, by his many friends, by his uplifting spirit and strength, or by the respect he garnered from those he met? All of these are important qualities in life and all of these qualities embodied Wayne. He will be forever in our hearts.

God looked around his garden
And found an empty space;
He then looked down upon this earth
And saw your tired face.
He put His arms around you
And lifted you to rest;
God's garden must be beautiful,
He only takes the best.
He knew you were in pain,
He knew you might never
Get well upon this earth again.
He saw the road was getting rough
And the hills were hard to climb,
so He closed your weary eyelids
and whispered 'Peace be thine.'
It broke our hearts to lose you,
But you never went alone,
For part of us went with you
The day God called you home
May your wonderful memories give you comfort .
Love Ed & Cathi Helm
