Willie “Billy” S. Adamson, 88 of Orlando passed away on January 26, 2014 in Orlando. He was a U.S. Navy and U.S. Air Force veteran having served during WW II. Billy owned and operated State Plumbing for 25 years in Orlando. He was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Jo Adamson of 55 years in 2005.
Billy was a member of Delaney Street Baptist Church where he enjoyed serving locally and on mission trips.
He is survived by his son, Jerry (Jennifer) Adamson, daughter, JoAnne (Chris) Cagle, 5 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 28, 2014 from 6-8PM at Carey Hand Colonial Funeral Home. A celebration of his life will take place on Wednesday, January 29, 2014 at 2PM at Delaney Street Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Memorial.
