Brian Lee Anderson, age 46, of Sheboygan, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, September 26, 2012 at his home.
Brian was born August 26, 1966 in Monroe, WI to Donald and Rose (Eells) Anderson. He was a graduate of Monroe High School, Class of 1984 and earned his Bachelor's degree in Business Management at the University of Wisconsin – Whitewater, in December of 1988.
Brian began his employment with Walmart as an assistant manager in 1989 in Macomb, Illinois. In 1994 he became manager of Walmart in Prairie du Chien, WI and was promoted to store manager at a larger Walmart in Sheboygan. At the time of his death he was co-manager for the Walmart Supercenter in Beaver Dam.
On August 17, 1991 Brian married his college sweetheart and friend, Janet Young in Stevens Point, WI.
He was a member of Zion Covenant Church in Sheboygan. Brian was an avid sports enthusiast who never turned down a chance to attend any and all sporting events. He spent wonderful times taking his daughters to the Green Bay Packers Hall of Fame as well as swimming at Elkhart Lake and the surrounding area. He also enjoyed spending time boating and relaxing at the family cottage in Three Lakes, WI.
In addition to his parents and wife, Janet, he is survived by his daughters, Silvey and Sadie Anderson; three brothers, Scott Anderson of Madison, WI, Craig (significant other, Christy Gilbertson) Anderson of Monroe, WI, and Mark (Erin) Anderson of Oshkosh, WI; his in-laws, Ron and Joanne Young of Stevens Point, WI; sisters-in-law, Paula (Chris) Sheridan of Colorado Springs, CO, Laurel (George) Koconis of Wisconsin Rapids, WI, Carol (Thom) Kerske of Stevens Point, WI, and Judy Young of Stevens Point, WI; nieces, nephews, and many friends and relatives.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 29, 2012 at 4:00 p.m. at Zion Covenant Church, 1125 N. 6th Street, Sheboygan, WI 53081. Rev. Dr. Steven J. Pedersen, Senior Pastor, will officiate. A time of visitation and support will be held from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Brian's name for his daughters.
His family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to all their friends and family who are supporting them during this difficult time.

Brian's goal was to make people laugh and always enjoyed being the comic of the group. He gave the world so many gifts, but the two most important he brought about are Silvey and Sadie. So much of his goodness, humor, and charm will live on through them.

Janet,Silvey, and Sadie- There are no words to express my deep sadness for you at this time nor are there words to take away this acute pain and shock. What I remember most is Brian's quick wit, one-liners, mischevious smile, and great sense of humor. I remember one trip in particular to the Freedom dance competition when we had some time to kill... which we did at Starbucks and the Green Bay mall.(I am sure Brian would rather have been at the Green Bay Hall of Fame or a sports bar verses the mall.) I laughed so hard that tears pricked my eyes and my stomach hurt from Brian's hilarious exchange of words. His dance moves (especially at the Toys concerts) could also bring a smile to my face. What a gift Brian had to make everyone smile and laugh. I see that same sense of humor in Sadie and Silvey. May Brian live on through them. You are all so special to me and I love you dearly, like family. I am here for you ALWAYS and ANYTIME! We all will greatly miss Brian! Love you! A million hugs!!

Brian taught me the value of mentoring by the way he mentored me. I cannot imagine where I would be in my professional or personal life without his support when he first came to the Sheboygan store. He believed in me when I didnt believe in myself. Janet, you and Brian always have had a special place in my heart even though we have not spoken in years. You and your daughters have my heartfelt condolences.

Brian was someone that believed in me, even when I didn't believe in myself. When I think of people who have helped steer me in the right direction in my career and life, Brian is definitely one of them. Even though it has been years since I worked with him, he is a big part of where I am today. If he wouldn't have taken the time to encourage and mentor me, I honestly dont know what kind of life I would have right now. Janet, you have my thoughts and prayers, and I can see from you pictures that you have wonderful daughters. I know that the time they had with Brian will shape them for the rest of their lives. You and Brian touched me back in the 90's in ways that you will never know....

When I was three years old, Uncle Brian taught me how to use the remote control for our TV, so I could switch off the lame PBS shows my parents made me watch. There was no going back to my previous existence...
I'll always miss Uncle Brian's infectious laugh and the way his joking around brightened up any situation.
Much love to Aunt Janet, Silvey and Sadie - you were blessed to have such a great guy for a husband and dad, and we were all honored to have been a part of Brian's family.
Love, Kyle

Janet, Silvey, and Sadie- No amount of words will be able to ease your pain right now, but know that I will always be here when you need. "B" had the warmest smile, that was just infectious. You couldn't help but smile back...and if he was laughing, that meant everyone around him was laughing too. His quips and jokes were so quick and funny, you couldn't help but just giggle in his presence. That's a quality that not many people have, but I know he passed that onto his girls. You can't help but just simply enjoy the company of the Anderson clan, and Brian was a huge part of that. He will be missed by many.

September 28, 2012

Janet, Silvey and Sadie, our condolences. Brian knew how to enjoy life and he spread that to others with his one liners and sometimes with just one word. He will be missed.

Janet, even though we never met, I feel I have know you for a long time. I first met Brian when we worked in Janesville, then I moved on. Our paths crossed again when Brian worked in Sheboygan, and yet again when we worked together in West Bend. You and the girls are the light of his life. I can't remember a day gone by that he didn't have something wonderful to say about you all. The big smile, the hearty laugh, and an all around geniune guy. Few and very far between. My thoughts and prayers are with you and all of your families during this difficult time. May he rest in peace.

To say that Brian was a good, kind, and decent man would be an understatement. To say that he had a great sense of humor would not tell you the whole truth. Brian was an oasis of calm, smiles, and laughter in the midst of chaos at the West Bend Wal-Mart. He was a leader, one who said "let's you and I go and get it done". Brian always found a way to put light where there was dark. His way was the golden rule we all learned as children. My heart goes out to his wife and children. May his presence in your heart guide your lives today and always. Rest in Peace, good man Brian Anserson. God Bless You and Yours'.

At any family gathering, it was best to be near Uncle Brian - he told the funniest jokes, kept up the longest running gags, scored us the best snacks, took us on the greatest adventures, got us there the fastest, and did it all with good humor and huge amounts of patience.
I grew up admiring the way he could easily have fun with all the generations: talking sports with Grandpa, or shopping with Grandma, or taking the aunts sightseeing, or golfing with the uncles, or swimming in the lake with all his nieces, nephews and daughters - Uncle Brian always took time for everyone and made life fun.
I also admire the way he supported his family with tons of hard work, cherished his daughters and was devoted to Aunt Janet.
I may have passed him in height when I was around 15 years old, but I can only hope to equal him in stature. Rest in peace, Uncle Brian and thank you for touching our hearts with the beautiful way you lived your life.

<3 Love always, Kerry

Words cannot express the sadness We feel with the loss of brian. I had the pleasure of working with brian at the beaver dam Walmart. He was a great leader, mentor, and co-worker. I can't remember a day that brian didn't have a smile on his face, his laugh will never be forgotten along with his scence of humor even if it wasn't Walmart approved. He was a great man with a great love for his family. I remember when brian first came to beaver dam on 3rd shift he wasn't affraid to work, if he had to help in the back room he did it, be a stocker he did it, be a maintance man he did it, go outside and push carts in rain/snow he did it, And when it came to being a manager he was a darn good manager. But his greatest love was his wife and girls he hated being on 3rd shift and missing out on his family time. Brian will be missed by many

There are no words to say how much Brian will be missed. The saying "to know him is to love him" fits him perfectly! I worked with for about 10 years at the old Sheboygan store-He was the best boss I've ever had.

Janet and girls, We are so sorry for your loss. Andy's soft voice and zinger one liners made my High School days filled with laughter. I treasure my Whitewater visits, concerts and the reunions that followed. Andy was one of a kind. His sense of humor and his never ending smile will be with me always. I apologize that I will not be able to make it Sat. but please know that Frauch & I will be there in spirit. I have lost a dear old friend. Our sincerest condolences, The Hamiltons

Andy was like a brother to me and many other wonderful friends growing up. I can still remember going to the Sky-Vu (just to watch the movies of course) or some of those truly crazy road trips. I have to stop typing now or I am going to start crying. My deepest sympathies to you all. Your Dad, Husband, and Friend was truly one of the finest people I have ever met. I will never forget him. Words cannot express the sadness we feel with the loss of Brian. I will not forget the memories I have of working on the family farm as a hired hand. You are in our thoughts and prayers. God bless your family.
