Amundson, Carolyn L. (Nee Cowan) Age 97. Born in Waukon, Iowa, on July 6, 1912 and called peacefully to Eternal Life with her Savior on March 22, 2010. Loving wife of the late Emmett and loving mother of the late Louise Amundson. Mother is survived by and will be deeply missed by her children; Harriet (George) Murphy, Mary Beth (Karl) Pahl, Jim (Chris) Amundson, Lynn (Gloria) Amundson and Keith (Kathy) Amundson. "Grams" was blessed with and loved by her 23 grandchildren, 63 great- grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren. Also survived by brothers James (Lila) Cowan, Donald (Rosemary) Cowan, many nephews, nieces and friends. Carolyn touched the lives of many with her gentleness, kindness and love. She was richly blessed and drank from her saucer because her cup truly overflowed! A very special "thank you" to all the staff at Lasata Care Center, Cedarburg; for the tender care given to Carolyn. On April 19, 2010, a celebration of life will be held at Elmbrook Church, 777 South Barker Road, Brookfield, WI 53045. Visitation from 12:30 until 1:45 PM. Funeral service at 2:00 PM. Interment at Highland Memorial Park.
