Catherine Airington a life long resident of New Rochelle passed away Friday, August 20, 2010. She was 62 years old. Catherine was born April 23, 1948 and was the daughter of Joseph and Mary Danna. She attended the New Rochelle Public Schools and was a Communication Specialist for many years. She was predeceased by both her husband Allen and father Joseph. Catherine had a great love of music, enjoyed reading and was quite the movie buff. During her recent stay in the Kings Harbor Nursing Home she adopted an out door cat she loved and cared for and who she named Asia. Besides her mother Mary, Catherine is survived by her son Eric, sister Frances Danna Alessi, brothers Joseph and Christopher Danna and her nephews Steven Danna and Julian Alessi. Visiting will be on Friday from 2 - 4 & 7 - 9 P.M. with a Funeral mass on Saturday 9:30 A.M. Blessed Sacrament Church. Cremation will be private.
