My daughter Alisa and I were so upset to hear about Dorothy. We looked forward to seeing her each year at the Isenhour Reunion. For a number of years she received the prize for being the oldest member present. My mom was just a few months younger and they always teased each other about that. We lost mom a few years ago and treasured the fact that we still had Dorothy honor us with her presence. She will be greatly missed. I hope her family and friends will still join us each year for our reunion..

To Dot's Family,
Sorry to hear of Dot's passing. She is now an angel in heaven as she was here on earth. I never met a sweeter person than Dot, such a blessing to have known her and being kin. Loved her and her family dearly.
Love to all,

My thoughts and prayers go out to Dot's family. She will be missed! I was her neighbor for over thirty years. She made the best damson pies, and "salsa", as she called it; and she was the last person I knew who still made homemade chow chow. Dot worked faithfully in her beautiful yard. I always looked forward to walking by her house on my walks, and visiting with her on her front porch!

I've known Dot Coone (and her husband George) all my life. I sang in the choir with Dot until she retired. Dot and George were beloved members of Bethpage, always smiling, always there to lend a hand in their quiet, unassuming ways. Dot's sweet spirit and friendly greetings will be much missed.
