Edward Ellsworth Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Oct. 4, 2011.

Major Edward Joseph Ellsworth 76 of Rice Lake, surrounded by his family, went to be with his Lord on Sunday, October 2nd. He was proceeded in death by his parents, Edward George Ellsworth and Gretrude (Finn) Ellsworth; sisters Luella and Mary Beth ; brothers Patrick and Michael, and grandchildren Paul Ellsworth and Grace Elizabeth Wolf. He is survived by his devoted wife, loving sister, 4 children, 21 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren. Though he will be missed, we will continue to find encouragement in this scripture he so often quoted:

"But they that wait upon the LORD
shall renew their strength;
they shall mount up with wings as eagles;
they shall run, and not be weary;
and they shall walk, and not faint."
-Isaiah 40:31
