Mrs. Holder

Vanceburg - Elizabeth Ann Holder, 79, of Vanceburg, died Sunday, June 19, 2011, at Southern Ohio Medical Center.

She was born Oct. 23, 1931, in Sylacauga, Ala. to the late Otha John McCaffrey and Ruby Rayfield McCaffrey.

She is survived by her husband of 57 years, E.V. Holder Jr. of Vanceburg.

She received her bachelor of arts degree in business administration from Berea College. She was a member of the Vanceburg Christian Church. Elizabeth was a homemaker.

She is survived by four sons, Charles "Mac" and wife Marcia Holder of Rush, N.Y., Vic and wife Kathy Holder of Vanceburg, Michael Holder and John Holder of Vanceburg; two daughters, Jean and husband, Chris McGlone and Diane and husband, Ben Johnson, all of Vanceburg; nine grandchildren, B.C. Johnson, Erin Gordon, Zach Johnson, Jessica Holder, Emma Holder, Megan McGlone, Alex McGlone, Tatum Holder and Sammy Holder, and seven great-grandchildren, Jackson Gordon, Dash Gordon, Gabe Johnson, Lydia Johnson, Boston Oppy, Dallas Littleton and Hayden Littleton.

She was preceded in death by one sister, Mary Nita Williams.

Services are Wednesday, June 22, 2011, at 1:00 p.m., at the Vanceburg Christian Church with Pastor Tom Cox officiating.

Burial will follow in the Lewis County Memory Gardens in Vanceburg.

Visitation is 5-9 p.m., today, at Dickerson Funeral Home, Vanceburg.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Vanceburg Christian Church, 38 Front Street, Vanceburg, Ky. 41179
