Emma Bonita Boudoin, 77, of Many, LA. passed away on Wednesday, June 15, 2011 in Shreveport, LA.
Emma is survived by her loving husband of 61 years Albert Boudoin; sons, Richard Albert Boudoin of Many, LA., Gerald Wayne Boudoin and wife Kathy of Fort Walton Beach, Florida, David John Boudoin and wife Regina of Colorado Spring, Colorado, and Joseph Scott Boudoin of New Orleans, LA; daughter: Julia Suzanne Swafford and husband Mark of Fortville, Indiana; brothers: Donald Ray Woodard, Charles Woodard, and Carmen Woodard; sisters: Shirley Lebleu of West Lake, LA., and Violet Lee of Houston, Texas; 14 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren
She was preceded in death by daughters: Janet Bertrand, and Brenda LaPoint; parents: Curtis Woodard and Julia Downs Woodard; sisters: Betty Sue, Kay, Faye and Lois.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 20, 2011 at the Hixson Funeral Home of DeRidder from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral Services will take place on Tuesday, June 21, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Hixson Funeral Home of DeRidder. Pastor Ron Fox will be officiating. Burial will follow in the Lewis Cemetery under the direction of Hixson Funeral Home.

Time just passes us all by and before you know it, you loose track of people and friends that were so important to you, especially growing up. 50 years have past since we all lived on Cactus Drive and I played with Wayne every day. I am sad for your loss and pray that God helps you help each other heal.
