F. Peter Dean, 75, of Terre Haute, passed away on Monday, June 25, 2012. He was born on April 21, 1937, in New Jersey, to Josephine Dean. He had a master of business association degree from Indiana State University and a bachelor of science degree from Eastern Illinois University. He taught at ISU, Ivy Tech Community College, and Danville University. He was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife, Anne Dean; sons, Thomas and Peter Dean; daughters, Kathleen Myers and Mary Ann Zagieboylo; and nine grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be at 5 p.m. Sunday at Mattox-Ryan Funeral Home, 602 S. Seventh St., Terre Haute, with a visitation from 4 to 5 p.m. Sunday, at the funeral home. Per his wishes cremation is scheduled.
