On July 6, 2010, Gurdev Singh Basi, beloved husband of Rajwant K. Basi, loving father of Sujita, Guriqbal, and Archana Basi, beloved grandfather of Eric, Daniel, Ashley, Blake, H. Gwendolyn and Julia. He is also survived by his brother, Manohar Basi, brothers in-law, Narinder S. Kahlon, Nirmal S. Kahlon and sister in-law, Kulwant Riar, and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
Family will receive friends at FLECK FUNERAL HOME, INC., 7601 Sandy Spring Road, Laurel, Maryland on Saturday, July 10th, 2010 beginning at 10 a.m. for funeral services.

I just can not believe Bassi ji is no more. I still remember the tremendous time I spent with him during our last visit to Atul's house in Rockville. He was an excelent and loving person.

I am so sorry to hear of Uncle's death. I remember him from your stay in Mataji /Pitaji's home perhaps over 3 decades ago. I remember him as a kind and gentle man. May his soul rest in peace and may God give you the stregth to bear this loss.
