Mary L. Adamson-Hoffman, age 54, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away Friday, January 8, 2010 at St. Vincent Mercy Hospital. She was born in Toledo on September 14, 1955 to Chester and Dorothy Burkey. Mary was employed, most recently at Huntington Bank. She was an avid bowler, loved playing bingo, going to casinos and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Chester and Dorothy Burkey, first husband, Peter Adamson Sr., mother-in-law, Margaret Adamson, mother -in-law and father-in-law, Paul and Joyce Hoffman.
Mary is survived by her devoted husband, Paul Hoffman, beloved sons, Pete (Becca) Adamson, Joseph (Monica) Adamson, grandchildren, Peter Adamson III, Katie Adamson, Matthew Adamson, Emily Adamson, Caydence Adamson, siblings, Chester Burkey, Annette (Don) Robertson, Tom (Linda) Burkey, Walt (Theresa) Burkey, father-in-law, Clifford Adamson, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-laws, Clifford (June) Adamson, Keith (Pat) Adamson, Bill Adamson, James and Sandy Fritch, Mike and Shirley Godwin, Jeff and Carol Hoffman, and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation for Mary will be at H. H. Birkenkamp Funeral Home, 3219 Tremainsville Rd,(at Alexis) 419-473-1301 on Sunday, January 10 from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm with funeral service at 11:00 am on Monday. Reverend Robert Wuellner will officiate. Interment will be at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park Cemetery. Online condolences may be sent to www.birkenkampfuneralhome.com
