Petronila "Blanca" Andujar, 95, of Syracuse passed away peacefully on Saturday. Born in San Cristobal, Dominican Republic on May 13, 1916. She lived in the Dominican Republic until 1990 when she moved to Syracuse to live with her daughter Herminia "Curry" and her husband Bernard Delello. Blanca loved Yankee Baseball, Spanish music, her dogs Neggy, Dozer and Shadow, dominios, jig-saw puzzles and most of all her granddaughter Nicole. As with all grandmothers, she was part parent, part teacher and part best-friend to her granddaughter.
Blanca is also survived by her sisters, Chaly Thomas and Ladimila Ramirez and sister-in-law Elba Ramirez and their extended families who all reside in the NY City area.
She is also survived by many family and friends in the Dominican Republic.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday 12 p.m. at FARONE & SON FUNERAL HOME.
Burial in Woodlawn Cemetery.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday from 4 to 6 p.m. at the funeral home, 1500 Park Street.

The loss of a loved one is never easy and we can never prepare for it.
