Obituary Notice
Phyllis Jean Ann Arntz, 76, of Coldwater formerly of Rose City, MI died Dec. 12, 2011 at her home. She was born April 29, 1935 in Huntington, IN to Benjamin and Aleda (Appier) Elston.
She spent most of her life in Rose City and was a waitress for many years.
Phyllis was a kind, loving and giving person who had a great sense of humor. She had big beautiful blue eyes, enjoyed her family and loved cats.
She is survived by her children, James (Mina) Arntz, Linda (Michael) Takats, Barbara (Kenneth) Otto and Steven Arntz. She is also survived by six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents, husband Louis Arntz and a brother James Ray Elston.
Visitation will be Thursday Dec. 15, 2011 from 4-8 PM at the Putnam Funeral Home in Coldwater. Funeral services will be Friday Dec. 16, 2011, 3:00 PM with visiting one hour prior to service at the Putnam Funeral Home in Coldwater with Rev. Steven Young officiating. Burial will be in the Lane Heights Cemetery, Lupton, Michigan. Memorial contributions may be made to the Branch County Humane Society.
