Cherish the memories and they will hold us and carry us through our times of pain and grief. We watch the photos, we reminisce on the times we shared and we laugh at the memories and we cry and we cherish them, and it's those memories that make us a worthy soul. Memories never change, they stay with us forever. Rest in peace Uncle Wayne, you fought a good fight. You helped me once when I was down and out (our secret :)) and I will never forget your kindness, not in words, but in your actions. Everyone in the Bell family is in our thoughts and prayers. Love, Sean & Cathi

I worked with Wayne for three years at ANGC and new him for another 20. I only wish I could of known him twenty more. Wayne was a great friend and a super person. I know he will be missed by all. I will never forget Wayne. We had so much fun at work I hated to go home at night. He had a special "Wayne Bell" way at looking at life and pepole around him. Thank you for the memories you gave us all. Rest in peace Wayne. We all love you.

I first met Wayne back in 1981 when interning at Augusta National Golf Club. Shortly after that Wayne jumped the fence from Augusta CC and I was lucky enough to work with him for many years. Wayne was a good friend and as dependable a friend as he was at his job at the National. He had a unique sense of humor and personality that I will miss, and I'm sure that all of the other people that were fortunate enough to know him will miss, too. My thoughts and prayers go out to Wayne and his family. God Bless Wayne and his family.

Thinking of Wayne, seeing that smiling face in my mind and knowing of his giving heart is a memory I will never forget. It was an honor working with, and learning from him. It is a sad thought knowing he will no longer be here with us, but he will always be in our hearts. God Bless him and his family.

I have worked with Wayne for 23+ years and he called me a bozo to many times to count. That was one of the things I really appreciated about Wayne, I always knew where I stood. He was one of the few people who could keep me on track at times. He was my go to guy. I could always depend on Wayne to handle things that I needed done, I wouldn't have to think about it again, because I knew it would be done. We've had our differences over the years, but we managed to come through them all, usually a little wiser for it. We went through everything here at Augusta National, 23 years, 24 tournaments, many days lasting from dark to dark and just another hour or so. Everything from the daily maintenance, to inventing, building, installing, removing, rebuilding, teaching and yes, even cutting grass. Who would have thought? I learned a lot from Wayne, and maybe I even managed to teach him a few things. The Jack of all Trades even wished he could have been as good as we were!
I will truly miss that gruff guy....Wayne. God Bless your family in this time of sorrow.

I am really sadden to hear about Wayne's passing. I always used to call him
the cute cousin. I know he is with Uncle Joe and Aunt Virginia. Cancer is the most terrible disease and we have to find a cure. I will be doing the Relay for Life on Anna Maria Island again this year May 10, 2013. I will make a luminary bag in honor of Wayne. So Sorry!! Your cousin. Nancy LaMorie

I first met Wayne at Augusta CC before he moved across the fence. I think it was 1983. I worked with him many times as a sales rep and volunteer at The Masters. He was quite a character and a really good man. He will me missed. Deepest sympathy goes out to his family.
