Cindy passed into peace on August 8, 2012 at the age of 53 following a brief illness, just 6 weeks following her mother's death. Cindy was born on May 13, 1959 and was a loving daughter to Andr'e (Andy) and Dorine (Ruppel) Anderson. Cindy was the wife of Joseph Schickert.
Cindy attended Trinity Lutheran Grade School and graduated from Sheboygan South High School. Cindy greatly enjoyed school and learning, recently completing her Master's in Business Administration and was working on her Ph.D. Cindy loved and cared for all animals, especially her dogs.
Caring mother to Greg (Tracy) Hansen and Jason Hansen. Grandmother to Holden and baby girl (to be born in September) Hansen. Sister to Michael (Kim) and Keith (Katie) and late Scott Anderson.
Cindy is also survived by Joan Schickert (mother-in-law), who was also her devoted care-giver and friend during her illness. She is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews, as well as the father of her children, Randy Hansen.
Cindy was preceded in death by mother, Dorine Anderson, brother Scott Anderson, father-in-law Henry Schickert, grandparents Chester, Romana, Albertha Anderson and Frederick and Evelyn Ruppel.
Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, August 14, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. at Ballhorn Chapels. Pastor Kim Anderson, First Congregational Church, United Church of Christ, will officiate. A time of visitation and support will be held from 4:00 p.m. until the time of service. Burial will take place Wednesday morning at 11:00 a.m. at Calvary Cemetery.
A memorial fund has been established in her name.
