How sad. I have known Danny since coming to NWD in 1983. He was always cheerful and upbeat. I really enjoyed visiting with him. We discussed fishing together recently while at the barbers office, but got weathered out. Sorry we never made it. Bruce Moss

I had the pleasure of working with Danny at DNR for many years. He always was helpful when I needed questions answered from customers and always had a smile. I remember how excited he was to have a grandson and they named him Ryan. He was equally excited when Micheala was born. He loved sharing photos with me as they grew. He will be missed. My deepest sympathy to his family.

Danny is the one person most responsible for my success in working with lakes and those representing lakes. He made it very plain when he first hired me as a WDNR LTE back in 1998, that you always respond to a phone. letter, or email as quickly as you can, even if it is to just to acknowledge you received it and will respond in more detail when you have time. I have never forgotten this advice, and wish so many more people would heed it. Danny was an outstanding individual and a terrific boss. I will never forget him. Dave Blumer, SEH Lake Scientist
