Sulewski, Edward V. formerly of South Milwaukee, passed away Saturday, September 21, 2013 at his home in Wauwatosa. Preceded in death by his beloved wife Arleen (nee Friemark) Sulewski. Loving father of Barbara (Jerry) Drabiak, Jean (Peter) Stenborg and Paul (Julie) Sulewski. Fond grandfather of Daniel, Stephanie, Olivia, Abby, Lauren and Emily. Cherished brother of Dorothy (the late Roger) Rayeske and Florence (Tom) Rouse. Further survived by nieces, nephews, in-laws and friends.
Ed graduated from South Milwaukee High School. He was a Sergeant and Paratrooper in the 11th Airborne during the Korean War stationed in Japan. He then attended Marquette University and the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee. Ed worked as a plant manager at the Heil Co. in Milwaukee and later held various positions at the Dana Corp. He was an avid golfer and Green Bay Packer fan. Ed and Arleen enjoyed many travels in their retirement especially to Ireland, Italy and Spain. They spent several memorable winters in Sun City, AZ with many beloved friends. Special thanks to dedicated case manager Bonnie. Heartfelt gratitiude to all of Ed's caregivers: Crystal, Inga, Josephina, Iona, Alisha, Kahla, Jackie, Carlotta and Alexis.
Visitation at St. Camillus (10200 W. Bluemound Rd., Wauwatosa) on Thursday, September 26 from 2 to 3p.m. with Mass at 3p.m. Private Entombment Forest Hill Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations welcome to the Military Order of the Purple Heart Service Foundation.
