I am so very sorry I could not get to the visitation or the funeral. I did call Vera but could not get away to bring her. I had hoped we could be there to represent those of us who had been with the Singing Wives from June 1971 to the end. Please know you are in my thoughts and prayers today. Peg, be safe on your mission trip to Mexico on Sunday.

I sang with the Singing Wives of Ministers Choir for 28 years, most of the time under Elinor's direction. She was fun, warm, kind, very musically gifted, and a committed servant of the Lord. I was privileged to call her my friend. I am so very sorry for your loss.

My deepest Sympathy is extended to the family. I remember all the fun times I spent with Elinor & Jack, babysitting with the children at home in Derby and at Lakeside.

Rev John (Jack) Brown and wife Elinor and children were the mentors of the MYF youth group at McKendree Methodist Church in the 1950's. They are valued Godly people.

I remember with great affection the many ways in which Elinor contributed to the musical vitality at St. Andrew UMC, Beavercreek. She was always pleasant to work with and brought great joy to the congregation through the bell choir and as interim choir director. Blessings to all the family as you celebrate her long and productive life. Alan and Jean Carroll, Dayton, OH
