Evangelina S. Cerrillo, age 81, of Othello, Washington, passed away at her home January 14, 2013, with her family by her side. She was born in Crystal City, Texas on October 4, 1931 to her parents, Juan and Carlota Salinas. She was married to Jose Cerrillo on March 24, 1946. Together they raised ten children. Jose passed away June 12, 1995. She was a long time resident of Othello. Eva worked for many years at Chef Reddy Foods and Nestle. Although she worked, she was primarily a nurturer. She loved her family with a passion. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband. She is survived by her ten children; Minerva (Juan) Valdez of Othello, Mauricio (Delia) Cerrillo of Mabton, Arnold Cerrillo of Othello, Maggie (Erasmo Jr.) Gutierrez of Othello, Oralia Cerrillo of Moses Lake, Jose Jr. (Janice) Cerrillo of Othello, Armando (Sheri) Cerrillo of California, Lupe (Gordon) Evans of Pasco, Yolanda (Angel Sr.) Garza of Othello, and Patty (Joe) Salinas of Colorado, and her Sister Dora Villalobos of Union City, California. She also leaves 38 grandchildren, 67 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild, and numerous nephews and nieces to cherish her loving memory. A viewing will start at 1:00 pm, January 16, 2013, at the Bethel Assembly of God church. Funeral arrangements will be held at 11:00 am, January 17, 2013, at the Bethel Assembly of God Church.
