Franklin Barnes Obituary

Byrd Bowles Tucker, Jr., 57, of Bassett, died Tuesday, February 12, 2013 at his residence. He was born in Allegany Co. on June 2, 1955 to the late Byrd B. Tucker, Sr., and Joyce Campbell Tucker of Martinsville. He had worked for Reynolds Container for ten years before becoming disabled.

In addition to his mother he is survived by his daughter, Summer Yarbrough of Madison, NC, three brothers, Thomas Wayne Tucker of Martinsville, Aaron Lynn Tucker of Fieldale and Mark Steven Tucker of Martinsville and one grandson, Joshua Yarbrough.

Graveside services will be held 2:00 P.M. Friday, February 15, 2013 at Roselawn Burial Park with Buck Wardel officiating, the family will receive friends 6-8p.m. Thursday February 14, 2013 in the Family Receiving Room of Collins Funeral Home in Bassett and other times at the home of his mothers.
