George G. Mulderig, 84, of Syracuse, passed away Sunday March 10, 2013 at home. Born in Syracuse to the late George P. and Catherine (Conway) Mulderig, he was a self-employed contractor for many years. George was a member of the Fairmount Fire Department and Liverpool Elks Lodge #2348. He was predeceased by his wife, Betty (James) Mulderig in 1999.
He is survived by 2 daughters, Cassandra "Cassie" (Bob) Burch, of Syracuse and Cynde (Bobby Monica) Mulderig, of Plainsville, 2 sons, Robert (Lorraine), of Pennellville and Ted (Rhonda), of Phoenix, 8 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, a brother, Joseph (Joan), of Syracuse, several nieces and nephews, and his beloved pet, Lady.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, at 9:15 am in BAGOZZI TWINS FUNERAL HOME, and at 10 am in St. Brigid and St. Joseph Church, where a Funeral Mass will be celebrated. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park, Warners. Calling hours will be from 4 to 7 pm Wednesday at BAGOZZI TWINS FUNERAL HOME, 2601 Milton Ave, Solvay.
Contributions may be made in his memory to Hospice of CNY, 990 Seventh North St., Liverpool, NY 13088.
