Hollice was one of the officials who installed me as Exalted Ruler of Chisholm Trail Elks Lodge in 1986. He offered me advice and counsel which helped me to learn and grow as an Elk. He was always a good friend. Those old-timers among us will remember "Big H" calling the most recent Past Exlated Ruler or Past State President (with a deep Texas drawl "Juuunyer"

Rest in peace Big H.

Hollice was a true gem unfortunately I only got to know him with the passing of his lovely wife Mary Lou. He shared his stories with me that day and advised me to pursue leadership roles in Elkdom. Telling me there would be adversities in going forward, but having the foundation of Past Exalted Rulers in my family he believed I would be successful in Lodge #201. Hollice was truly a man of wisdom with a loving heart.

Hollice was an inspiration and teacher to me when I became an Elk. Even more when as Exalted Ruler I needed pointers. He always said " Michaell do what you feel is the best" Greg, it has been a long time, I am sorry for your loss.
