Jane Paulette Burris, 65, of West Terre Haute, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 17, 2012, in Seaton Specialty Hospital St. Vincent, in Indianapolis. She was born Nov. 10, 1946, to Marion Fox and Mary Stringer Fox. She was a 12-year U.S. Army veteran serving in West Germany and retired from the Department of Defense, where she served as a budget analyst.

She loved her Pepsi collection and liked playing Aggravation.

She is survived by her husband, Allen, whom she was married to for 43 years; one daughter and son-in-law, Lori and Rick Bertagnolli; one son, Bradley Allan Burris; two brothers, Raymond Fox and David Fox; two grandchildren, Ricky Howell and Tiffany Howell; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and one sister, Joyce Hayne

Memorial services will be at Mattox-Ryan Funeral Home, 602 S. 7th St., 11 a.m. Monday, Jan. 23, 2012, with the Rev Ken Coffman officiating. Visitation will be Sunday from 3 to 6 p.m. Burial will be in Soldiers Circle In Highland Lawn Cemetery In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to International Fellowship of Christians and Jews or Humane Society.
