Services for Letha A. Baxley, 77, of Columbia, will be held at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday in Greenlawn Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel with visitation from 3:30 until the hour of the service. Mrs. Baxley passed away on Sunday, December 20, 2009. She was born November 16, 1932, in Florence County, SC, to the late Thomas and Addie Ard. Mrs. Baxley is survived by her children, Channie Baxley and John Baxley; a sister, Mettie Powell; six grandchildren, Sue Watts, Ryan Baxley, Brett Baxley, Reid Baxley, Blake Baxley and Brianna Baxley; and four great-grandchildren, Scott Bittner, Brad McMillon, Marie Watts and Alex Watts. Memorials in lieu of flowers may be made to the American Cancer Society or to the American Heart Association .
