Lucille was born on a farm in Ulysses, Kansas to Arthur and “Tillie” Hollingsworth. One of seven girls and one brother,
Lucille is survived by one sister, Hazel Webster age 99.
Lucille had a lifelong love of the outdoors. She enjoyed her vast garden, yard work. And especially golf until her passing.
She had her third hole-in-one at 85 and to the end was trying for a fourth.
Lucille will be remembered as an extraordinary mother and sister. Mother-in-law, grandmother, great-grandmother and
golfing buddy.
She was a role model of fortitude, wit, and a “can-do’ attitude for all who knew her.
Above all Lucille loved her husband John (deceased) and four sons, Mike (Kipp) of Portland,
Jerry (Leslie) of Texas, Ronald (Denise) of Wisconsin and Donald (Teresa) of Astoria, Oregon, and sister Hazel.
She was proud of her grandchildren, loved a joke, a glass of good scotch and a round of golf with her golfing “buddies”.
