Aunt Mabel was a one of a kind, an original lady in every sense. Always a smile on her face and a Circus Peanut in her purse, she was cherished by all she came in contact with. While she will be missed I am glad in the assurance that she is in place far better than we could ever imagine.

Mabel will be missed by our entire family. She was truly a lady in every sense of the word. She earned the respect of both children and adults from many avenues. I loved her and will miss her greatly. Our deepest sympathies to the entire family.

It's hard to believe a world without Aunt Mabel in it. An aunt to many, many children. The "gum" lady to all the church kids. A hug just when you needed it as a teenager and words of wisdom as you grew older. She will certainly be missed and always, always thought of fondly!

Very sorry to hear of the passing of one of my favorite adults as I was growing up. "Fatty", don't now why we called her that, was a very funny lady and always had a smile on her face.
