Marguerite C. Croghan, 86, of Old Bridge, passed away peacefully on Sunday, Dec. 9, 2012, at the Raritan Bay Medical Center, Perth Amboy Division. She was a clerk for Ohaus Scale Corp., in Union for many years, retiring in 1991. Marguerite loved to travel and being with friends and family.
She was predeceased by her first husband, Michael Loughney, in 1974. She is survived by her husband, Robert Croghan of 37 years; her sons, Michael & Patricia Loughney of Union, and Martin & Natalie Loughney of Fla.; her grandchildren: Michael, Timothy, Shaun, Daniel, & Dean; and her sister, Helma.
Friends may call from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 12, 2012, with a funeral service at 12:30 p.m. at the Michael Hegarty Funeral Home, 3377 US Hwy. 9, Old Bridge. Committal will be private. To write a tribute or for further information, please visit www.hegartyfuneralhome.com.
