Mary Rotella Budzielek

Mary Rotella Budzielek, of Camillus, a devoted aunt, passed away Monday. A native of Jones Point, NY, Mary resided in Syracuse for more than 30 years before moving to Camillus in 1958. She graduated from North High School. Mary was employed as the executive secretary to the former Commander in chief Recruiting Command, United States Army, Syracuse Regional Headquarters. Mrs. Budzielek was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, the Alter and Rosary Society and the NARFE Federal Retirement Association. She was an avid New York Yankee fan. She is predeceased by her parents, Thomas S. Rotella and Maria Scalise Rotella; her husband, Raymond J. Budzielek in 1994; and her brothers, Dominick Rotella, Joseph A. Rotella, and John Rotella. Mary is survived by Joni Bravo of Skaneateles, Edward (Andrea) Rotella of Syracuse; Steven (Valerie) Rotella, of Syracuse, Thomas (Mary Sharon) Rotella of Syracuse, Joseph (Beth) Rotella of Syracuse, Anthony (Bridget) Rotella of Camillus, Jeff (Hollis) Rotella of Syracuse, Jock Rotella of Syracuse, Jed (Laurie) Rotella of Camillus, Julie(Bill) Moore of Camillus, John Rotella of Camillus, Joanne Rotella of Atlanta, GA, Jay (Perri) Rotella of Syracuse, Jean (Vince) Turner of Budford, GA, and Jill Rotella of Syracuse. Many great nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted, Thursday 9:45 a.m. from PIRRO & SONS FUNERAL HOME and 10:30 a.m. in St. Joseph's Church, Camillus, NY where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at a time to be announced. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery. Friends may call, Wednesday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home, 1500 Park Street, Syracuse. Donations may be made in Mary's memory to Unity Kitchen, 385 West Onondaga Street, Syracuse, NY 13202, St. Joseph's Church, 5600 West Genesee Street, Camillus, NY 13031, or the Special Olympics New York, 800 S. Trepasso, Millard and Svetz
We wanted to tell you how sorry we were to hear about Teeni's passing. She was a sweet woman and we have nothing but wonderful memories of her. In fact our mother, Rachel (now 91 years old) said that Teeni was a good girl...a REALLY good girl!
