Mary C. Laquidara, of Natick died Tuesday, January 1, 2013 at Notre Dame Long Term Care Center in Worcester. She was 84 and the wife of the late
Paul Laquidara who died in 1995. Born in Framingham January 25, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Placido and Maria (Mandelfino) Zacconi. A graduate of Natick High School, she was employed for many years as a bookkeeper in the Medfield Public School System, retiring in 1993. She enjoyed bowling and was formerly a member of a bowling league in Natick. She also liked square dancing, reading, knitting and sewing. She is survived by her children and their spouses: Joanne Rose and her husband, Edward, of Leicester; Peter Laquidara and his wife, Sandra, of Andover; Mark Laquidara and his wife, Pamela, of Framingham, Bruce Laquidara and his wife, Eileen Allison, of Framingham; and Carl Laquidara and wife, Dana, of Upton. She was also the mother of the late Linda Laquidara and leaves 12 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Saturday, Jan. 5, at 9:00 am at MetroWest Funeral & Cremation Service of Wadsworth-Chiappini, 318 Union Ave., Framingham, followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Patrick Church, 44 Central St., Natick at 10:00 o'clock. Visiting hours at the funeral home will be Friday from 4:00 to 8:00 pm. Interment will be in St. Patrick Cemetery, Natick. Memorial donations should be directed to the Framingham Heart Study, 73 Mt. Wayte Ave., Framingham, MA 01702
