Phyllis M. (Keapock) Maas, age 88, passed away on Monday morning, November 12, 2012, at Peabody Manor in Appleton. On July 19, 1924, Phyllis was born to the late Patrick and Lucy (Bouressa) Keapock. She was a graduate of Menasha High School. On June 28, 1947, she was united in marriage to Kenneth Maas at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Menasha. She had been a member of St. Patrick's from the day she was born. Phyllis had worked as an executive secretary for 40 years retiring in 1984. She loved playing cards, working on crosswords, bowling, and being on her computer. Phyllis and Ken traveled all over the world and spent the last 11 winters in Florida. She also had a great love for all of her dogs that she has had.
Phyllis will be missed by her loving husband of 65 years, Ken; her daughter, Ann (Scott Pennings) Maas; two sisters: Eileen Coonen and Bette (Doug) Crane; her beloved dog, Sophie; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was also preceded in death by five brothers-in-law and four sisters-in-law.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:30 am on Saturday, November 17, 2012, at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 324 Nicolet Blvd., with Fr. Larry Abler officiating. Visitation will held from 10:00 am until the hour of the Mass at the church. Interment will take place at St. Margaret Cemetery, Neenah. In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established.

The family wishes to extend a special thank you to Theda Care Hospice, Cherry Meadows and Birch Cottage for all the their loving care and kindness given to Phyllis.
