I still think about you often my friend. I miss you greatly. There is a huge void in the Seinfeld daily quotes/texts......always brought a laugh and a smile.
The world was a better place because of you.

I have not seen Randy since he used to delivery my paper as a kid, but we share a beautiful niece together which keeps me in touch with family events. I would have to say that I have never read such a wonderful tribute to someone. I am so sorry for all of his friends and of course wife and children for feeling the loss of the wonderful person that Randy became. I can only hope that all of the wonderful memories and the lessons that he taught all that he met can carry you through this very dark time. I cannot begin to understand the feeling of loss you are feeling. My peace be with all of you.

Mem I'm so dearly sorry for your loss. I know you probably don't want to hear that but I'm so sorry my family and I couldn't be there for you, Phoenix, and Matrix like all of you were there for me and my family when my mom passed away. I just received the news of this terrible tragedy and if you ever need anything we are all here for you guys. Randy was an incredible guy and he was so kind and funny. I loved going to Tae Kwon Do and hearing him cheer for us when I would spar your kids haha he always found away to brighten the mood and make anyone smile with his jokes. I'm so sorry for your loss. It's so very sad to hear :'(

Dear Mem, Phoenix, and Matrix,
Thank you for the amazing 25 years that you shared Randy with our department. He was an amazing person to us and it was a true honor to have had him in our life. I was privileged to have been hired at the Police Department with him and to get to attend two police academies with him. He was a true leader with infallible values, unshakeable courage, and the kindest heart. Our friendship will live forever. With Love and Respect, Bobby Long

To my cousins of Ambrose and Fran Rysewyk. It is with heartfelt saddness as I look at all the videos/pics on the computer to see such a warm vibrant and loving father, husband and sibling has left this earth at such a young age. No one can explain it we know, but such a tragedy to say the least. My heartfelt sympathy go out to my cousins, Mem and your children. Please know you will be in my prayers and if I could, would come out for the celebration of Randy's life. It looks like you have so many wonderful memories to look back on to celebrate the years God gave him to you for. May our Lord be with you in your sadness and in the months to come, I can only imagine the void. Many, many Blessings from God to all of you; He alone has the answers we all search for!

Randy,
Your kind hearted sense of humor will be missed. I'm fortunate that our paths crossed over 25 years ago and I am honored to have known you. Always a smile, always a joke, and always solid words of encouragement from a righteous man. I know you are smiling down upon us; although much too soon. God Bless you and may your family find peace and comfort in this difficult time. Your former instructor from many years ago, then your trainee at HPD, and then your brother in blue at HPD. You will be missed my friend. Your Mexican Brother from another mother.

Randy was a 'Top of Line Co-Worker'!!!!! I remember, best, when he and I transferred the Police Academy Sgt's Command from me to him in 2011....we worked together and it was super cool to get to know him, better than before. My time with Randy was always peaceful, positive, playful, productive, spirited, encouraging, and super cool, and we always related our drive to our relative military experiences. Go Marines! but Go Air Force!---Our DT-Randy Jesting:) !!!!! I will miss his presence, but will look forward to seeing him again one day in my next life!

Randy, we will have another cup of coffee when I see you again.
To Randy's family and friends I was so sorry to hear about Randy's passing. He was a great kid growing up in Elgin IL. His was always happy and smiling when he would drop by before school. Our house was a great spot to leave his skateboard and walk the two blocks to school. We kept in touch while he was in the service and the whole family loved it when we would receive letters from him. I was so happy when we connected on FB. I will miss the pics he posted on FB of his beautiful family. Condolences to his family and friends and may God be with you all at this difficult time.
