Nobody is gone
Unless you want them gone
If you do not want them to go
Then they will be with you forever
In memory of
Those that are gone
But will never be forgotten

Your mom was so funny! I enjoyed my time at St Joe with your mother and Kathy as my gym teacher and Nance a year behind me. I have many fond memories of her working on the Horse Show and encouraging us to Sell Those Adds for a day off school! I especially enjoyed her "tap dancing" class! Blessings to your family...

Mick;
What a great lady. I only got to know her in later years but she must have been a pistol all of her life. I would see her having dinner at AGC and I know Mrs. Bommarito loved her company at Brooking. Mark Bahn's comment is right on.... we all know where those athletic genes came from.

Your Mom was such a strong and loving role model. As a coach she was tough, fair and funny. As a friend's mom-- she was definitely a "cool" mom!! Sending love your way from Colorado.

Oh Johnny Oh Johnny Oh.....that song and Mrs. Wellington guiding us through square dancing with all of us in our tunics is one of my fondest memories of my days at the Academy. One of my proudest moments when Mrs. Wellington suggested I should of tried out for the basketball team. I am sure she did that to boost my confidence but that is what she did for so many of us. Mrs. Wellington taught us how to be a mature woman with style, grace, health and faith. So we all join hands and circle the ringo singing oh Mrs. W, oh Mrs. W, oh......

Dear Kathy, Mick & Peggy, and the entire Wellington family, I am so sorry for your loss. It amazes me how one person could accomplish so many marvelous things in a single lifetime. Your mom was one of those special people; and it is impossible to count the hundreds of students, friends and relatives she has impacted in her lifetime. I am blessed to have known her many years ago and treasure those wonderful memories back in the late 60's! Hugs and prayers are with you all.Love, Linda (Tobin) McCarthy Rotter

Mrs. Wellington understood how important sports were for girls. She was ahead of her time. When I read that one of the strongest indicators for success in the business world for women was whether they played team sports, I thought of her. Thanks for instilling in so many students a sense of competition and sportsmanship. -- SJA Alumna 1971

I remember when the SJA Alums were together to have a telethon and Rosemary said she wasn't calling anyone anymore because they are all dead. What a hoot she was with her "Stage Whisper" in church no less. Rosemary will be sadly missed by all.

On behalf of my Mother, Lucille,
I can't thank your Mother enough for the
friendship she gave during her stay at
Brooking. Rosemary and all of your family

KATHY, NANCE AND ALL THE WELLINGTON FAMILY. I WAS SO SADDENED TO HEAR OF YOUR MOM'S PASSING. MY FONDEST MEMORY OF ST. JOE WAS YOUR MOM. SHE ALWAYS HAD MY BACK, HAD FAITH IN ME AND I TRULY LOVED HER. I HAD THE PLEASURE OVER THE YEARS TO VISIT HER FROM TIME TO TIME AT HER HOME AS A DROP BY AND SHE ALWAYS WELCOMED ME. I ALSO WAS ABLE TO SEE HER AND SPEND SOME TIME WITH HER AT THE SKILLED FACILITY. IT WAS A JOY TO SEE HER AGAIN. SHE ALWAYS REMINDED ME OF THE LAST SECOND SHOT I MADE TO GET INTO SEMI-FINALS. SHE WAS A WOMAN OF CLASS, NON JUDGEMENT, AND LOVED ALL HER "ANGELS". I FEEL PRIVLEDGED TO KNOW AND LOVE HER. ALL OF US "ANGELS" NOW HAVE A MIGHTY ANGEL TO WATCH OVER US AS I KNOW SHE WILL DO. PRAYERS TO YOUR FAMILY WITH MUCH LOVE. MARY HOLLORAN
