Sheila Rae Erlanson (Keltner)
August 24, 1938 – March 4, 2013
Sheila went home to the Lord at the age of 74, after an 8 year battle with Alzheimer's disease and a recent discovery of cancer. Born in Ontario, California to Glen and Helen Keltner, she was raised in Wilmington, California. She settled in Long Beach, with her husband Dick in 1967, where she raised their family. Sheila was a Customer Service Supervisor and International Sales Coordinator for Belmont United Van Lines for over 20 years, where she made many close friends. She was also very active at St. Timothy and Mt. Olivet Lutheran Churches. Sheila loved to camp, fish and collect rocks, visiting many of the campgrounds on the Eastern Sierras. The desert and beaches were among her favorite areas for hiking and camping. Her nickname was 'Princess Catch'em and Cook'em'. She is survived by her husband Dick, of nearly 50 years; children Shannon, Brad, Julie, and Eric; 10 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild, brother Jerry, sister Sunny, in-laws Roy, David and Carolyn; 12 nieces and nephews.

Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. John 14:27 "Peace be with you" is what she would say. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.

Sheila was a wonderful friend ~ so many memories of working together at Belmont, the bowling league, and the wonderful vacations she, Dick, my husband, Michael, and I took - Jamaica, St. Lucia, and Hawaii. She was the type of person that was always there for you, had encouraging words, and took the time to listen - to EVERYBODY. Sheila will be missed by so many people. Love you!
