FARNHAM, Blanche E., 88 passed away peacefully May 14, 2014 in her home at the Palms of Largo. Born in Dalton, Pennsylvania, she moved to Hialeah, Florida with her husband, Floyd R. Farnham, Jr. and eldest son, Dennis L. Farnham in 1946. She is survived by her three children Mary E. Farnham, JoEllen Farnham and Floyd (Bud) R. Farnham, III; her three grandsons, Royce, Darien and Ira Farnham. Blanche was predeceased by her husband, Floyd R. Farnham, Jr. and her eldest son, Dennis L. Farnham, her siblings, Karl B. Leonard, sisters Gertrude E. Palumbo, Dorothy M. Wigert and Louise M. Seamans.
Blanche was a wife, mother and career woman. She worked in retail sales and as a receptionist in the legal field and automobile industry. Blanche was, also, a talented pianist from the age of four and played with Willow, a volunteer gospel band who performs at Blanche's church, Aldersgate United Methodist Church, located in Largo. Willow raises funds at their performances that are donated to organizations whose mission is to help low income and homeless people help themselves.
Blanche was devoted to her family, friends, community, and, to her bichon frise, Jodi, Blanche's faithful and beloved pet. She made a difference in all of the lives that she touched and will be missed deeply. A celebration of Blanche's life will be held May 20, 2014 with visitation at 3pm and service at 4pm at Moss Feaster Funeral Home, 693 South Belcher Road, Clearwater, FL, 33764. Blanche brought so much life and vitality to the world. She was such a positive person. My daily visit with Blanche was often the high point of an otherwise difficult day. I wish JoEllen, Mary, and Buddy peace in this time of sorrow.

I will really miss Blanche and the talks we had on the phone and when she would come into the office. She was always happy and full of life. I will miss her and remember her for a long, long time. God bless her.

I always enjoyed my brief visits with Blanche and Jodie on Sundays. She was very kind and always made sure I had a pocket of sweets to take home to my sweetie. My deepest sympathies to her family and her little Jodie.

I can't believe she is gone. The Farnham house was always lively and fun. I knew her most of my life since 1949 and what a blessing that was. Her piano playing made me happy. She loved the beach and was happy for me to tag along. She made a choice to be happy each and every day and those around her got to share in her happiness. I am grateful for the time we shared.
