Kay is predeceased by her husband of 52 years and love of her life Paul A. Buonomo; parents, Paulo and Mary Ruggeri; sister and brother-in-law, Natalie and Joseph Green; Brother Agatino (Gus) Ruggeri and son-in-law, Thomas Holland. Kay is survived by her cherished daughters and their husbands, Mary Ann Holland Motsko (William), Vestal; Patricia Bliznik (Mark), Binghamton; grandchildren, Angela Iacovelli (Thomas); Michelle Clark (William), Tracy Burns (Greg); Laura Bliznik; great grandchildren, Taylor Iacovelli; Joseph Iacovelli; Madelyn Clark; William Clark, Jr.; Grayson Clark; Declan Clark; and Emily Kay Burns; sister, Josephine Simeck (James), Endicott; sister-in-law, Lucielle Ruggeri (Agatino), Endicott; brother-in-law, Joseph Buonomo (Peggy), Binghamton; many nieces and nephews. Kay came to the U.S. from Italy at 7 years old and grew up in Binghamton. She eventually retired from Ozalid Corporation and the Bon-Ton. After retirement she worked for many years selflessly delivering meals on wheels in the community to “old people”. “Nonni” truly loved spending time with her entire family including her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. We have wonderful memories of Sunday dinner, baking bread, bowling, shopping and going to the park, as well as canning tomatoes and pears with her. She always had a kind word, a smile and brought joy through her infectious laugh to all she met. She took great pride in the roses she grew at her home. She was always smiling and felt “you gotta look good”, and she did! She was and will always be remembered as a great soul.
