My condolences to your entire family. I did not know Mr. Zazas, but in reading of his life, I am moved to write this. He was a true American hero. I will remember him and his comrades at Normandy on June 6th. I am continuing my father's tradition of traveling to honor the men who were lost when the USS Meredith struck a mine on D+2, and all the other fighting men of WWII.

I worked with Chris for a short period about 30 years ago, but he touched my life in a very profound way. The lessons he taught me have remained among the most important lessons I have ever learned. His legacy of helping others will continue. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
