First of all I would like to say that Corey you where such a big part of our family you where loved and always will be loved and missed.
A few of the memories of Corey that stand out in my mind is Christmas mornings. Corey would just smile and I knew he was thinking what have I got myself into with this crazy bunch. This past Christmas when he opened up the packer stuff we got him (yes we had to get packer stuff and a lot of it) He would disappear and come out from the bathroom with that big smile.
Corey I need to thank you for all the times you rescued us from dad. You two would talk for hours and you handled the complaining about how the packers should have caught the ball ect…And to listen to all the complaining of what was going on in the world. I think you knew that you where saving us from dad.
How about the time you and Sara came up and asked if you could barrow Bryans fishing poles. You came back all excited that you caught some fish. Someone asked you if you had a listens. You said no we threw them all back. OMG Corey really? All we could do is laugh.
From Mason:
Uncle Corey I am too little to really understand where you are and I look and ask for you a lot. Everyone tells me that you are in heaven in the sky. Grandma made me a card with your picture on it that I keep under my pillow and we watch movies together. Well there was the time that you fell under my bed and daddy helped me get you out and put you back under my pillow. Uncle Corey thank you for all the times I came down to your house and you took me to the park and fishing with the cars fishing pole you bought me. You bought me movies that we sat on the sofa and watched together. Uncle Corey thank you for making my family feel like chopped liver when you would come to visit and all I wanted was you!!!! I love you Uncle Corey….

The 1st time I met Corey was in Jr. High during a Jr. High dance. Corey was the only person to beat me in amrwrestling competition, well ever. After that Respectful event we became in-seperable for the the next 1/2 decade.
He was very sociable & we just mixed really well. Some would even call us long-lost-brothers since where Corey was, I was not far behind & Vise-Versa.
We took care of each other in many ways,traveled together, ALOT. Even lived together. I will miss Coreys contagious laughter the most. You will never ever be forgotten.

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.
Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."
It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man.
God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.
When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.
I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.
There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.
If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.
So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.
And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.

I thought of you with love today
but that is nothing new
I thought about you yesterday
and days before that too,
I think of you in silence
I often speak your name
All I have are memories
and your picture in a frame.
Your memory is my keepsake
with which I'll never part
God has you in His keeping
I have you in my heart.

Corey fought a good battle, with this crazy thing called Life. He will be greatly missed!
Sending Butterfly Kisses!
Butterfly Kisses
My working hands, they tired;
My heating heart grew weak...
My weary eyes they closed
As I drifted into a peaceful, eternal sleep.
I know your heart aches with sadness;
Your grief, it seems too much to bear.
Keep close to you the happy memories,
Special moments of times we've shared.
When your heart is heavy
With sorrow and tear-filled pain
Listen... feel the gentle breeze;
It's me sending my love, whispering your name.
Look among the flowers
See the butterfly that flutters near your cheek;
It brings a kiss from me in heaven......
A butterfly kiss for you to keep!
