LITTLE MOUNTAIN - A memorial service for Roxanne Allison, 55, will be held at 7:00 p.m. Friday, May 25, 2012 at St. Jacob's Lutheran Church. The family will receive friends from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Friday at the church. Memorials may be made to St. Jacob's Lutheran Church, 844 Columbia, Avenue, Chapin, SC 29036 or South Carolina Oncology, SCOA Cares Foundation, P.O. Box 2046, West Columbia, SC 29171.
Roxanne was born July 28, 1956 in Gaffney, SC and passed away on Tuesday, May 8, 2012. She was a daughter of Edgar Allison and Vivian McAbee Allison. Roxanne was a member of St. Jacob's Lutheran Church. She retired from Ford Motor Credit Company.
Roxanne is survived by her spouse, Thrane Smith of Little Mountain; mother and father of Gaffney, SC; brothers, Dennis (Debbie) Allison of North Carolina and Bruce (Margarie) Allison of Gaffney, SC; spouse's family, Claudia and Marion Smith and brother and wife, Laurice (Teresa) Smith of North Carolina and many loving friends. Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Irmo/St. Andrews Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.

Roxanne, you were one of the first ladies that I met at Ford Motor Credit and also one of the strongest! I appreciated your friendship and certainly introducing me to one of the sweetest dogs in the world, the Boykin. May God Bless you even more ( now that you no longer have pain) and may God give peace to Thrane during this difficult time.
