Dorothy L. Wianecki, age 85, of Menasha, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, October 13, 2012. On June 8, 1927, Dorothy Leona was born in Berlin, Wisconsin, the daughter of the late Peter and Margaret (Regenewski) Lipinski. She was united in marriage to Sylvester "Sam" Wianecki on June 20, 1945; he preceded her in death on December 9, 1984. Dorothy had a great love of plants and flowers, a true "green thumb". She was also preceded in death by her 2 great-grandchildren: Nathan and Zoe; a brother, Robert Lipinski; a son-in-law, Larry Harris; and other relatives.
A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, October 17, 2012, at Martens-Laemmrich Funeral Home, 312 Milwaukee Street, Menasha. Visitation will be held on Tuesday evening, October 16, 2012, from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm at the funeral home and again on Wednesday morning from 9:30 am until the hour of the service at the funeral home. Interment will take place in St. John Cemetery, Town of Menasha. In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established.

My condolences to Dorothy's family. Dorothy and I went to grade school and high scool together. We lived 3 streets away from each other in Berlin, WI. We exchanged Christmas cards thru the years. We shared the same hospital room when our first child was born. I regret that we never got together more often. So I say "Never put off till tomorrow what you should do today". Sheila please call me regarding Dorothy. Alice Fay. 920-685-5953
