Elsie was a dear friend of our family, including our dogs, for thirteen years. She was fun to converse with - she was a ham radio operator, and was so considerate of her neighbors that she would wait until 3:00 AM to use her radio to chat with others in places like New Zealand. Although she is now a Silent Key, our memories of her are bright. Her house was always scrubbed as clean as a dish. She didn't have a lot in the way of material posessions, but loved to give gifts and made her fruitcake loaves faithfully every year. We remind ourselves from time to time of things she said and laughs we shared. Our dogs adored her, especially Bowser and Gertie, and she was so good to them. We envision her in a beautiful heaven with her dear Sister Suzie. We miss you Elsie! Lots of love, Lorraine, Mike and Gertie
